Job Description

Katalyst is seeking an Account Executive to help hit our aggressive sales goals. In this role, you will prospect, engage and qualify managed services opportunities for yourself, and identify professional services and product opportunities for the sales team as we work to become the leading Managed Service Provider in the Southeast.

As an Account Executive (AE), you will identify sales opportunities specifically with managed services. You will be responsible for sales activity and will be expected to generate a high volume of meetings and opportunities each month.

This role will work directly with the Revenue Operations team and reports to the VP of Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing of deals with our Managed Services offerings from discovery to close with the goal of onboarding net new clients

  • Consistent activity of phone calls, emails, social outreach and in person networking

  • Oversee the generating of qualified sales opportunities for the Account Management team for Professional Services and Product opportunities

  • Work with the Marketing team to develop sales enablement collateral on all major campaigns

  • Work with a team of Account Managers to ensure company goals and team growth goals are met

  • Use Salesforce to keep your performance organization 

  • Use Outreach and be familiar with Hubspot for your campaign organization 

  • Use Zoom Info tools for identifying prospects and contacts in our ideal client profile 

  • Become an expert in Managed Service offerings to better understand and serve our customers and prospects

 

Required Experience/Skills

  • Experience in the prospecting targets for 2+ years

  • Proven ability to generate positive conversations with prospects

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Outreach

  • Ability to form relationships across the organization – particularly with Revenue Operations, Marketing and Sales

  • Positive, persuasive communicator

 

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in any field
